when ever i read these post i can't help but realize that there are many of us out here who have to critisize others even when we claim to be giving good advise. it's like saying to some one " i don't mean to tell you but you are ugly". well, when you think about it, you do mean to say it or you would not have said. about the last concert produced by stamina and aziatic. these guys are putting these shows to give the belizeanartist an oportunity to perform in a venue that no other belizean promoters is willing to give. all the belizean promoters who put on big concerts with these big reggae artist has never given the belizeanartist the chance to really shine like they can. they will put the belizeanartist on the satge at 12:00 noon when no one is there. stamina and aziatic are trying to change that. instead of feeling that you have wasted your money look at the fact that you have supported the belizeanartist who really need your support. look at it as helping the producers in accomplishing the bigger goal which is to showcase belizean talent like never before. the truth is, you will not be satisfied with ever line-up ever year. i sure the producers may feel the same way. they may not even be the biggest fan of who they bring, but there giving individuals a chance. i see people bashing wagiameme. what for? why not find the things about them that you do like and praise them on that. we need to stop the hating. and yes that is what it is-hating. we all will have our favorites but it should not mean we talk bad about the ones who are not our favorites. and you guys come on here and say these things not knowing that the smart people can see right thru your bullsh*t. its amazing the amount of energy people will put into talking trash. i can only wish i had that kind of time on my hands. people, just please see what these guys are tring to do. stamina and aziatic are only trying to help the belizeanartist. two concerts a year. is it too much to ask that we pay $20. we do it for everyone else. majority of you pay close to $100. dollars to go to bob marly concert. we can get to that level, but it won't happen if we don't help those who are willing to sacrifice their time, money, strenght and almost everything else to make it happen. so please!

respect that to the maximum!!! Our community is small in Los Angeles to be so divided. True, you've the freedom to like who you like but, do you need down those acts you don't? Another good point, belize people WILL shell out mad money for jamaican artists but complain when their own peeps is performing. Belize music will NOT make it on that major level w/out YOUR support. I applaud Stamina & Aziatic for sticking their necks & doing something about it. "Don't talk about it, BE about it". If you don't like the show, artists, venue, price, stop talking behind peeps back, get involved & MAKE suggestions. That's the only way to make any progress & put Belize on the map in a POSITIVE way. We're too small of a community for all of this disension.

the webmaster has done what he really should not have to do but need to be done. the point we are trying to make was just this: everyone is entitled to their opinion, but some feel that they are talking to or dealing with fools who will not be able to see when someone is being mean hearted. they say something stupid and mean and when you catch them in what they are doing, then they want to turn around and make it seem like their intentions was something else. well when you look at it, all the artist who are doing well are always the one who are being hated on. think for a second and think of belizean artists who gets hated on more than any one else. we know many of you do not have to think too hard. like we said before, we need to look at what people are doing closely. their real talent, accomplishments. we have not been putting anyone down with our comments. yes! we have pointed out some people who we all know are the culprits of all this. but like someone said, "the truth hurts"- this is when this saying comes in.

while its true that a lot of thought doesn't need to go into who gets hated on the most, it is also true that there are a lot of other artists who are as equally talented who get a lot of love and respect and in my opinion the difference is humility while it comes natural to some to others it is quite elusive. Being great and talented doesn't entail always telling everyone how great and talented you are, it doesn't mean distancing yourself from the people who buy your records. Most fans gravitate to confidence not cockiness.

to the fan, this is true though it is also true that it is not in our nature as belizeans to congratulate each other. the point is we hate even on those who you might ssay is humble, for instance, fleshless is a very humble person, yet when he was giving out his cd out , people were throwing it away. didn't even think about giving his music a chance. your look at this would make sense in a "normal" culture, but we do not show each other love unless it's a friend of ours. we should be able to appreciate someones talent no matter what we think of them personally. elvis is loved by millions, yet personally he was not really a good man. he stole the music of many blacks, he was a racist and so on. the love for him was based much on his talents. but yet again, who do you know is really humble? the truth is many artist do have one or two people who they will confide in. someone who's ear they will use to talk about how great they are. my understanding of humble would be someone in public will not speak on how great they are. some one who uses his/her influence to help others, and put others before him/herself. true? deep inside, many people will put themselves on mountains, but its ones ability to share those dreams with others that makes him/her great. belizeans do not support each other and this is nothing new and i know that you who is reading this has thought that as well. so lets not say it's because one is't humble enough, or because one distances him/herself from fans, come on. all of hollywoods stars distance them selves from us ad we still love them, and if we do not like them it sure isn't because they are not humble, or because they distance themselves.
