Chocolate Factory is #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Charts; it sold over 50 million. Would you buy his CD if you believed he was guilty? What are your thoughts?

As far as I'm concern he is innocent. I'm not a big R-Kelly fan so I have no intention of buying the album regardless. But if i did buy it, then he was found guilty in a court of law, I would trash the album. Then find a charity that council abuse children and donate double what I spent on the album, or maybe more.

After seeing the R. Kelly video with him engaging in sexual acts with supposedly a minor it made it hard for me to even listen to Bump n Grind. Maybe it wouldn't have been that bad if the guy in the video didn't look so so so much like him. I have no intentions on buying another of his album until he is taken to court. The day that Cd had came out another case was filed against him on similar charges. I think the brother need some healing. I wouldn't be suprised if he bought his own albums. just my view chaotic

I think that he is guilty, too. I won't buy his CD, but I do like that ignition remix. I hope that he gets help or corrects his mistakes. Everybody deserves forgiveness.
Its sad how someone could take advantage of little girls. I heard that he went to the schools and preyed upon them like a pedophile. Whatever, after watching that BET special, I thought he was lying from the way he answered (avoided) the questions.

Well, i also think that R Kelly is guilty because i saw the videos for myself and i do believe that the man in the video is no one other than R Kelly himself. I also observed how he avoided the questions on the BET special as well, that just suggested that he was guilty and trying to hide information that the public was already aware ok. The nigga seemed to be enjoying every moment on those videos now he cant handle the heat.
If the music was appealing to me, I would still buy his CD though. Thankfully, it's not.
He does need help too. He's just one of the many who was unfortunate and was caught cause i bet there are many more doing the same thing. We should also put some blame on the girls who allowed him to do this. What was their payment for performing such acts? Think about that as well. It takes two to tango and they sure seemed to enjoy it as much as he did.

"He's just one of the many who was unfortunate and was caught cause i bet there are many more doing the same thing." Girl you done said it and I am glad that you brought that up. Abuse such as this usually start at home with family members sexually abusing these kids. Something needs to be done about it and these kids need to taught a lot. What more can a fourteen or fifteen year old want other than candy or a pair of Jordon's. Sad to say but ten dollars is a lot to them (kids). I think that it also has to do with kids wanting be like these video hoes they see on T.V. and they try to imitate what they see. Anyway, I am just glad that my grandma raised me with values and thanks very much to my rich Garifuna culture that not any of this hype have influenced me. Chaotic

I do believe that your moral values plays a very vital role in the way you think and act. Some children who come from poor families have very low self esteem and would perform in such activities for money and yeah, like you said, a pair of Jordan’s. They don’t consider the consequence until it is too late. Fame and attention, to look fly and dress in the best, to be driving a fancy car, all the good things in life without having to hold a 9 – 5. That is the mentality our youths have. They prefer hanging on the corner selling some crack, risking their lives and their freedom to make fast money than to get an education and work their A** up the corporate ladder.
I think that parents give their kids too much at a young age and when they cannot afford the luxuries of the changing times, the kids rebel because they are accustomed to having what they want no matter what the price.
As a youngster I had to work for what I wanted. An extra household chore here, a run to the grocery store for the neighbor there, saving my allowance or any little task to make a little extra for field trips, clothing and other things I desired. Now, parents try to give their kids everything their little hearts desire in hopes that they won’t turn to stealing or other criminal offenses but what they fail to realize is that by failing to instill values in their kids of working for what they want, they will always be dependent on them as their parents and will seldom willing want to work for things they desire.
