Today I saw a couple having lunch. They were an older couple, about late 50's I guees. What caught my eye was the way the man was looking at the women. He was watching her eat, and it seems he was enjoying every second watching her eat. And I wonder what was he thinking at the moment. Was he thinking about all the times they had spent together? I wonder if she felt his stare. If she had any idea that that man was loving her as much as he had ever loved her. I don't know. It seemed as if though I was watching a man continue to love his wife. All the way into their old age.

That is very sweet, romantic even. It seems everyone wants to be loved by an honest, respectable and loving person but we all seem to make the wrong choices when it comes to love. We look at elderly couples and ponder if that will be us with out loved one some day. I often think that I will never find true love but I guess when the Lord decides it’s my time, I will find love and hopefully I can realize it. If only the world had more loving people, a lot of the drama that occurs now would probably be nonexistent huh?

Even though I am a sinner, I was taught that GOD's love is the best love and if you search for perfect and pure love in mankind or the earth's possessions, you will never find what you are looking for. I think that most people are loving people, but I think that people sometimes give out tainted and inconsistent Love. Its their version of love which happens to imperfect for many reasons. Love is better than Hate, but love sometimes has consequences since we deal with imperfect people.
Friendly Advice: If you do love somebody, you should try your hardest to show love and say you love them everyday. regardless of their flaws, disagreements or anything else. Time is precious and if that person dies, you would wish that you cherished each moment with that person and loved them to the fullest. I used to say it wouldn't happen like that to me, but my mom died unexpectedly overnight. And sometimes I wish that we could've done more together. And everything unpleasant is no longer an issue, all I remember is the good times.

Is Love a gift, you shouldn't refuse? Does money, looks, or status influence you accepting or giving love? Should you only love people that love you?
Sometimes people give us love and its not what we expected or the amount that we wanted.

Love is withouth doubt a gift. It is given without condition. When there is condition attached then it's no longer love but an investment. And sometimes that is okay, because if you're heart is really into sometthing then you will give to that thing. But if you are giving just because you know you'll receive, then you're way off the mark.
I hope I made some kind of sense in all this.

That's a good point Z, about Love, Investments and Conditions. We invest our love in people and I guess we do expect love in return, but sometimes we get pain and misery. Its wrong to expect material things, though.
I was thinking about how some people refuse love on the grounds that a person doesn't have a good job or look a certain way. Its like everyone has their standards or minimum requirements before they invest their love in someone. What happens when a guy loves you, but he falls below your standards? Some of the sweetest guys are ugly or fat or broke. That person can treat you right and make you happy.
What makes you want to give someone your love or even accept theirs?
Why?
I was listening to the radio(KJLH)and this chick was so obsessed about what car and job, money that she didn't focus on the content of the person's character.

Right now I'm equating love with pain, so I'll wait to post when I have something beautiful to say!

The greatest thing about love . . . the pain. If you don't agree with me, Ask Jesus.

I will know that it is love when:
He washes my back, clothes and do the dishes. He kiss me from my head to my toes and make my feet curl up. He starts going to church with me. He wants to grow old with me. He say to me that he is grateful that he has me. He wipe my tears and make me laugh when I am sad.
Men, this shit is too complicated.
I don't know! Love is when it enters the heart and never leave.
